The history of Paulaner begins with this drink. And also the history of strong beer in Bavaria, because the Pauline monks were the inventors of this high-alcohol, low-fermentation seasonal drink. For more than 375 years, Salvator beer has been brewed according to the traditional recipe, which has been refined over the years: with a caramel-coloured crown of foam, this chestnut-coloured beer, combined with its seductive chocolate aroma, unfolds its pleasant intensity with every sip. It's joined by the finest Munich malt, rounded off with a light hop note on the palate. Often copied but never achieved: the mother of all high-alcohol seasonal beers traditionally designated with the suffix "-ator"!
