This is a new version of an edition aged in rum barrels! The rum blends perfectly with Chimay Grande Réserve, adding a surprisingly tropical touch to the mix. The aromas of dried fruit, apricot and peach combine perfectly with the intense caramel and chocolate flavours of this beer. Oak, vanilla, orange and brown sugar, typical accents of rum barrels, combine with subtle notes of hazelnut and almond. The aftertaste has ripe banana and a surprising aromatic explosion of gingerbread. A superb blend with the unmistakable and elegant aroma of rum as its backbone.
